Description
FP&A Specialist - Washington, DC
Beacon Hill is seeking a FP&A Analyst to support financial planning, forecasting, reporting, and analysis for a growing organization. This role will work closely with finance and operational teams to provide visibility into financial performance and help support business decisions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with annual budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning
- Prepare monthly financial reporting and variance analysis
- Analyze actual results against budget and forecast
- Build and maintain financial models and management reporting
- Track key financial and operational KPIs
- Support revenue, expense, headcount, and profitability analysis
- Partner with accounting and business leaders to understand financial trends
- Assist with month-end reporting and management presentations
- Perform ad hoc financial analysis as needed
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field
- 2+ years of FP&A, corporate finance, or financial analysis experience
- Strong understanding of budgeting, forecasting, and financial statements
- Advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables, XLOOKUP/INDEX-MATCH, and financial modeling
- Experience with ERP, planning, or reporting systems such as NetSuite, Oracle, SAP, Adaptive Planning, Anaplan, or Power BI is a plus
- Strong analytical skills and ability to work with large data sets
- Comfortable working cross-functionally with both finance and operational teams
