About the role

This position is responsible for safely melting metal alloys and pouring them into prepared molds to produce castings.

Key responsibilities

• Operate and monitor furnaces to melt metals according to specifications
• Pour molten metal into molds safely
• Maintain accurate records of heat, alloys, and pouring operations

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred
• Previous foundry or manufacturing experience is a plus
• Ability to lift 50 lbs., stand for extended periods, and work in hot environments
