Job Position: Foundry Grinder
Location: Tulsa, OK 74131
Pay Rate: $18.00/hr
Shift: 3: 00 AM 1: 30 PM, Monday through Thursday
Description: Join our team! Foundry Grinding Technician Overnight Shift: 3: 00 AM 1: 30 PM, Monday through Thursday Overtime: Expected overtime on Fridays (8 hours) Pay Range: $16.93 $21.68/hour
Position Summary The Foundry Grinding Technician is responsible for grinding, cleaning, and finishing cast metal products to meet quality standards and customer specifications. This role also supports production operations across the foundry as needed.
Primary Responsibilities Operate tools and equipment such as: Grinders Chippers Saws Blasting equipment Grind, smooth, and finish castings to required specifications Inspect castings for defects and report issues Perform routine maintenance and safety checks on equipment Move materials using forklifts, cranes, hoists, or similar equipment Support additional foundry functions, including: Core making (internal casting structures) Mold making and closing Melting (preparing molten metal) Pouring (filling molds) Shakeout (removing sand and cores) Maintain a clean and safe work environment Perform additional duties as assigned
Education & Experience Qualifications High school diploma or GED required Experience with grinding, cutting, or metalworking equipment preferred Experience operating:
Forklift Overhead crane Similar material handling equipment (preferred)
Job Requirements Ability to pass drug screen and background check Corrected vision to 20/20
Ability to work in: Extreme temperatures Noisy environments Dust, fumes, and moving equipment Strong problem-solving skills in structured environments Ability to: Work independently and in a team Multitask in a fast-paced environment Follow all safety procedures
