Founding Full-Stack Engineer

This is a rare opportunity to join an early-stage team as a founding engineer and help reinvent one of the largest, most underserved sectors in financial services. You’ll be responsible for building core components of an AI-native platform that automates complex, multi-agent workflows in wealth management.
You’ll work directly with the founder to architect scalable systems from scratch, define infrastructure choices, and shape both the technology and the culture of the company. This role is ideal for highly motivated engineers who are hungry to build and thrive in a high-ownership, high-intensity environment.
Design and build end-to-end AI-powered workflows for financial automation
Architect and deploy scalable backend and infrastructure systems
Collaborate on multi-agent AI workflows that deliver actionable insights
Ship elegant, production-grade features with velocity and autonomy
Help set the engineering bar, processes, and team norms
3–8 years of experience as a full-stack engineer at top-tier, venture-backed startups (Series B or earlier)
Experience as a founding engineer or founder strongly preferred
6+ months of hands-on work in applied AI and frequent use of tools like Claude, ChatGPT, or Cursor
Strong CS or STEM degree from a top-ranked university
Backend: Python, Django
Frontend: TypeScript, Vercel
Infrastructure: AWS ECS, RDS/Postgres, Redis, Terraform
AI Tools: OpenAI, Claude, Anthropic, Cursor
Have strong product instincts and a founder mindset
Are excited by the opportunity to work on greenfield AI infrastructure
Have a bias for action, think beyond the code, and thrive in ambiguity
