What You Will Do
- Serve as a founding engineer, collaborating closely with the founder to influence the technical direction and architecture of the product.
- Own features from inception to deployment, ensuring a seamless transition through design, development, and release.
- Build and maintain full-stack systems using Python, Django, TypeScript, and React, delivering high-quality software solutions.
- Work with GraphQL APIs to enable smooth data interactions across the platform.
- Manage Kubernetes-based infrastructure and deployment pipelines, contributing to a robust operational environment.
- Engage in architecture and system design discussions that will define the scalability and performance of the platform.
Ideal Candidate Background
- 5–10 years of professional software engineering experience with significant contributions across the full stack.
- Proven hands-on experience with Python and Django for backend development, as well as TypeScript and React for frontend applications.
- Demonstrated ability to build and maintain GraphQL APIs in a production environment.
- Experience deploying and managing applications on Kubernetes, showcasing a strong understanding of modern infrastructure.
- A sense of ownership and accountability, treating the product as if it were your own and thriving in a high-velocity startup setting.
Preferred
- Familiarity with enterprise-scale systems or exposure to large, complex codebases.
- Previous experience at an early-stage startup or a strong desire to contribute to a 01 product development journey.
- Involvement in architecture and system design discussions, with a focus on aligning engineering efforts with user outcomes and business metrics.
