A technology-driven organization is seeking a hands-on Forward Deployment Solutions Engineer to create reporting and AI-assisted applications connected to an evolving enterprise data platform.
The organization is integrating information from multiple enterprise systems into a centralized environment. Microsoft Fabric and OneLake form part of the existing platform, while Power BI reporting and semantic models are under development.
The engineer will work closely with business stakeholders to understand how they need to access and use information, then design and build applications that meet those needs.

RESPONSIBILITIES- Engage directly with business users to understand reporting, information, and workflow requirements.
- Architect and build applications using information from multiple enterprise systems.
- Develop APIs, connectors, and integrations linking applications to approved data products and semantic models.
- Create AI-assisted applications using retrieval and orchestration techniques when appropriate.
- Develop business reporting solutions that connect information from different data sources.
- Work with data, identity, and security teams to ensure appropriate application access.
- Evaluate technical options, make implementation recommendations, and deliver working solutions.
- Validate applications with stakeholders and improve them based on business feedback.
Role Requirements- Hands-on experience delivering integrated enterprise applications or advanced reporting frameworks.
- Experience combining information across multiple enterprise systems.
- Strong API, connector, and systems-integration experience.
- Ability to design and implement applications end to end.
- Practical experience with enterprise AI and retrieval approaches, or significant experience building sophisticated cross-source reporting applications.
- Understanding of semantic models or comparable enterprise data structures.
- Familiarity with permission-aware enterprise application design.
- Strong business-stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
- Ability to translate requirements into technical solutions and completed applications.
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE- Microsoft Fabric, OneLake, or Power BI.
- Vector databases or vector search.
- Multi-entity enterprise application development.
- Complex financial systems or shared-services data integration.
