Job Descripition:
- We are seeking a Forward Deployed Engineer (FDE) with 3-7 years of software engineering experience to build and deploy modern, AI-enabled business applications.
- This role is ideal for a hands-on full-stack developer who combines strong software engineering fundamentals with an interest in emerging AI technologies and customer-focused solution delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and deploy end-to-end business applications.
- Build scalable APIs, microservices, and cloud-native solutions.
- Develop front-end applications using React or similar frameworks.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and deliver solutions.
- Leverage AI-assisted development tools and modern engineering practices to accelerate delivery.
- Participate in Agile development and contribute to CI/CD and DevOps initiatives.
Required Qualifications
- 3-7 years of software engineering experience.
- Strong background in Java and full-stack application development.
- Experience with one or more of the following: TypeScript/JavaScript, Node.js, C#, or Python.
- Hands-on experience building APIs, microservices, and cloud-native applications.
- Front-end development experience using React or similar frameworks.
- Knowledge of Azure, Azure OpenAI, OpenAI, or other modern AI platforms.
- Experience using AI-assisted coding tools such as GitHub Copilot, Claude Code, or Codex.
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and stakeholder engagement skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with LangChain, LangGraph, Agent SDKs, or multi-agent frameworks.
- Exposure to AI agents, workflow automation, or LLM-powered applications.
- Understanding of DevOps, CI/CD, and modern software delivery practices.
- Experience in Healthcare, PBM, Insurance, or other regulated industries is a plus.
Ideal Candidate
- A traditional full-stack software engineer who has expanded into AI-enabled application development, rather than a data scientist transitioning into software engineering.
- Candidates should be curious, adaptable, and comfortable working in fast-paced, customer-facing environments.
