This is not a back-office engineering role — you'll be embedded directly with client teams, translating messy real-world data and legacy systems into working AI-powered integrations, fast. Build and maintain data integrations, APIs, and connectors across a wide range of client systems (CRMs, ERPs, internal tools, third-party platforms).

*** is looking for a Forward Deployed Engineer to sit at the intersection of our clients' data, systems, and AI-native solutions. This is not a back-office engineering role — you'll be embedded directly with client teams, translating messy real-world data and legacy systems into working AI-powered integrations, fast.
We're specifically looking for someone who thinks like a builder-consultant. If you've spent your career inside traditional systems integrators shipping templated, slow-moving projects, this isn't the right fit. We want someone who's comfortable owning ambiguity, shipping fast, and adapting solutions live in front of a client.
Role and Responsibilities:
Deploy directly into client environments to build, integrate, and troubleshoot data and AI systems in real time

Design and build fullstack applications with a strong data backbone — from UI down to the data layer
•
Build and maintain data integrations, APIs, and connectors across a wide range of client systems (CRMs, ERPs, internal tools, third-party platforms)
•
Develop and deploy MCP (Model Context Protocol) servers/connectors to plug client data and tools into AI workflows
•
Design data pipelines and engineering workflows that make client data usable, reliable, and AI-ready
•
Prototype and productionize AI-powered features and agents using client data
•
Work directly with client stakeholders to scope, iterate, and troubleshoot — translating technical tradeoffs into plain language
•
Own problems end-to-end: from ambiguous client ask, to architecture, to shipped solution
Required Skills:
Strong fullstack engineering skills, with a genuine data background (not just consuming APIs — understanding data modeling, pipelines, and quality issues)

Hands-on experience with AI/LLM-powered application development
•
Experience as a data engineer or working closely with data engineering: ETL/ELT, pipelines, data warehousing
•
Proven experience building data integrations, APIs, and connectors across disparate systems
•
Familiarity with MCP (Model Context Protocol) or similar tool/connector frameworks for AI systems
•
Comfort working directly with clients — presenting, troubleshooting live, adapting scope in real time
•
A builder mindset: bias toward shipping, comfortable with ambiguity, allergic to over-process
Qualifications:
2–3 years of professional experience in software/data engineering roles

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or a related technical field (or equivalent practical experience)

Travel Requirements
This role requires travel within the United States as necessary to support client engagements, onsite deployments, and key project milestones. Travel frequency will vary by client and project phase.
