    Description

    Summary

    The Content Format Editor is responsible for reviewing, editing, and preparing media assets for distribution across streaming, and digital platforms. This role ensures all content meets technical specifications, formatting standards, and quality requirements while supporting production, programming, and technical operations workflows. The Content Format Editor works closely with internal teams to ensure media assets are properly prepared, organized, and delivered on time.

    Essential Functions

    • Ingest, organize, retrieve, and distribute media assets to support post-production and content distribution workflows.
    • Edit and format media assets to meet technical specifications, quality standards, and distribution requirements.
    • Create air-ready master files for streaming platforms, including video, audio, and caption formatting.
    • Organize and maintain media files, metadata, and associated assets within media asset management systems.
    • Review media assets to verify compliance with technical, formatting, and quality standards.
    • Assist with correcting media assets that do not meet quality control requirements and prepare revised files for distribution.
    • Support Programming Scheduling and Playout Operations by identifying and submitting missing media assets.
    • Prepare and submit video, captioning, and subtitle assets for distribution across on-demand, OTT, streaming, and social media platforms.
    • Archive original and edited media assets to ensure content is available for future distribution and operational needs.
    • Maintain inventory and tracking of physical and digital media assets.
    • Collaborate with production, programming, and technical operations teams to ensure timely delivery of content.
