Description for Forklift Production Laborer:
- Safely operate 5,000-lb standard sit-down forklifts both indoors and outdoors across the active yard.
- Balance, transport, and load long structural pipe lines measuring between 16 to 24 feet in length.
- Load and unload incoming flatbeds and commercial transit trucks cleanly with zero shortcuts.
- Assist with active production lines by scoping pipe for specs and building heavy shipping crates.
- Maintain a highly organized work area, remove material debris, and strictly follow all plant safety rules.
Details for Forklift Production Laborer:
- Pay Rate: $18.00 / hour.
- Schedule: Monday – Friday | Night Shift: 8:00PM – 8:00 AM
- Location: Chehalis, WA.
- Position Type: Full-Time, Temp-to-Hire.
Requirements for Forklift Production Laborer:
- Prior verifiable experience safely operating sit-down forklifts inside a warehouse or manufacturing setting.
- Preferred: Background handling long or heavy industrial materials safely (lumber, steel, pipe lines).
- Physical capability to handle heavy industrial labor, stand all shift, bend, and lift 50–75 lbs consistently.
- A proactive, safety-minded work ethic and high situational awareness around heavy machinery.
- Exceptional history of daily attendance, prompt punctuality, and reliable personal transportation.
