POSITION: Forklift OperatorREPORTS TO: Production Supervisor QUALIFICATIONS:- Must be familiar and comply with company policies to all employees reporting to him/her
- Must be detail oriented
- Able to operate warehouse equipment
- Must have cooperative attitude necessary to work effectively with others
- Good communication skills (verbal & written)
- Must be able to follow verbal & written instructions
- Adaptable, flexible, and maintain effectiveness during change/transition
PRIMARY DUTIES:The primary duties of the employee are (but are not limited to) the following:
- All employees have the responsibility to bring forth suggestions and participate in continuous improvement process and verify the implementation of solutions.
- Conform to all quality/safety/environmental requirements and procedures.
- Read and follow instructions on converting orders.
- Perform routine operations on machine (load, set-up, doff) - make necessary adjustments to meet quality standards.
- Production reporting to be neat and accurate.
- Ability to lift 75 – 100 pounds.
- Maintain a clean and orderly workplace.
- Perform other duties as assigned by Department Supervisor.
