Description
We have a wonderful opportunity for Forklift Operator in Winchester, VA with the local manufacturer.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Must have 1 year of experience operating a forklift
- Must be eligible to work weekends, holidays, and overtime
- Valid DL or CDL preferred
- Must be able to sit, stand, crouch, bend, kneel, walk, and reach for 8 plus hours
- Must be able to lift at least 50 lbs
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Will use forklift to load/unload productions onto trucks/trailers according to shipping schedule and operate other equipment as needed.
- Will support production and shipping processes by using forklift and pallet jack to transfer products, pallets, boxes and other materials.
- Will pull product from Alvey and Tote stations and put in warehouse or any other area as determined by the supervisor
- Will use scanner to input info into systems
- Will monitor equipment for wear/damage, and perform routine maintenance.
- Will change labels on Markem printer and input all info using scanners
- Will supply WIP product as needed and check conditions of totes, check production schedules and ensure all supplies are ready for the next shift and replenish as needed.
- Will collect and scrap cardboard as needed in the compactor
HOURS:
- 12 hour shift on a 2-2-3 schedule (6pm-6:30am)
PAY:
- Pay starts at $20.20
