Material Handler / Sit-Down Forklift Operator

Location: Van Buren Township, MI Schedule: Monday–Saturday, 7:00 a.m. – 5:30 p.m. Pay: $19.00/hr

About the Role

The Stand Up Reach Forklift Operator / Material Handler is responsible for safely operating a sit-down forklift to move, stage, and organize automotive parts within the warehouse. This position supports daily warehouse operations by loading and unloading materials, maintaining inventory flow, and assisting with general warehouse tasks while following all safety and quality standards.

Reach truck experience is preferred but not required. This is primarily a sit-down forklift position.

Key Responsibilities

• Sit-Down Forklift Operation — Safely operate a sit-down forklift to move, load, and unload materials

• Material Handling — Stage, organize, and transport automotive parts throughout the facility

• Inventory Flow — Support accurate movement and placement of materials to maintain workflow

• Warehouse Support — Assist with general warehouse duties as needed

• Safety & Quality Compliance — Follow all safety procedures, equipment guidelines, and quality standards

Requirements

• Experience operating a sit-down forklift required

• Reach truck experience preferred, but not mandatory

• Ability to lift, move, and handle materials throughout the shift

• Strong attention to safety and accuracy

• Reliable transportation to the Van Buren Township facility
