Forklift Operator- Thur - Sat (7a-7p)

Responsibilities: Operate sit-down and/or stand-up forklifts to move raw materials, finished products, and equipment throughout the facility. Perform routine maintenance checks on forklifts and report any issues.

A local manufacturing company is seeking a dependable forklift operator to join their team! This position is critical for ensuring smooth warehouse and production operations.
Responsibilities:

• Operate sit-down and/or stand-up forklifts to move raw materials, finished products, and equipment throughout the facility
• Load and unload trucks, verify shipments, and document materials
• Supply production lines with necessary materials
• Maintain organized storage areas and ensure proper labeling of materials
• Follow all safety protocols and participate in daily safety checks
• Perform routine maintenance checks on forklifts and report any issues
• Support other warehouse and production tasks as needed

Requirements:

• Proven 1+ year forklift operating experience
• Certification a plus, but not required at time of hire
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. and be on your feet for extended periods
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
• Great attendance history and punctuality
• Reliable transportation to and from work
• Previous experience in a manufacturing or warehouse environment preferred
• Must be able to pass drug screening and background check
