Description
A local manufacturing company is seeking a dependable forklift operator to join their team! This position is critical for ensuring smooth warehouse and production operations. Responsibilities:
Operate sit-down and/or stand-up forklifts to move raw materials, finished products, and equipment throughout the facility
Load and unload trucks, verify shipments, and document materials
Supply production lines with necessary materials
Maintain organized storage areas and ensure proper labeling of materials
Follow all safety protocols and participate in daily safety checks
Perform routine maintenance checks on forklifts and report any issues
Support other warehouse and production tasks as needed
Requirements:
Proven 1+ year forklift operating experience
Certification a plus, but not required at time of hire
Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. and be on your feet for extended periods
Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
Great attendance history and punctuality
Reliable transportation to and from work
Previous experience in a manufacturing or warehouse environment preferred
Must be able to pass drug screening and background check
