Position Overview
We are seeking a dependable Forklift Operator / Machine Operator / General Laborer to join a busy manufacturing team in Oklahoma City. This versatile position is responsible for operating a sit-down forklift, supporting production operations, and training as a backup strapping machine operator while assisting with general labor duties throughout the facility.
The ideal candidate is safety-focused, eager to learn, and enjoys working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Required Experience & Skills
Previous sit-down forklift experience required
Machine operating experience preferred (training provided)
Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a strong plus
Ability to perform physical labor throughout the shift
Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
Reliable attendance and dependable transportation
Willingness to learn new equipment and responsibilities
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Safely operate a sit-down forklift to transport materials and finished products
Load, unload, stage, and organize materials throughout the facility
Train to operate and provide backup support for the strapping machine
Assist with production and general labor duties when not operating equipment
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
Follow all company safety procedures and manufacturing standards
Support daily production goals while maintaining quality and efficiency
Perform additional duties as assigned by supervisors
Preferred Qualifications
Previous manufacturing or warehouse experience
Experience operating production machinery
Forklift certification is a plus
Strong mechanical aptitude and willingness to cross-train
Physical Requirements
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly
Frequent standing, walking, bending, twisting, and lifting throughout the shift
Ability to work around production equipment in varying temperatures
Must be available for overtime and Saturday work as required
