Forklift Operator – Loose Material Handling Location: Jasper, TN Schedule: Monday–Friday | 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM Pay Rate: $15.00 per hour Position OverviewWe are seeking experienced and safety-conscious Forklift Operators to join a busy industrial yard in Jasper, TN. This role is ideal for individuals who are comfortable working outdoors and have experience handling large, heavy, or loose materials in a fast-paced environment.The Forklift Operator will be responsible for moving steel pipe and other materials throughout the yard while maintaining a strong commitment to safety and efficiency. Responsibilities
Safely operate a forklift in an outdoor industrial yard environment.
Move, transport, stack, and organize steel pipe and loose materials throughout the facility.
Load and unload trucks and transfer materials to designated staging areas.
Navigate forklifts over dirt, gravel, and uneven terrain with care and precision.
Assist in maintaining an organized and efficient yard layout.
Conduct routine equipment checks and report any operational concerns.
Follow all company policies, procedures, and safety guidelines at all times.
Support other yard operations as needed.
Qualifications
Previous forklift operating experience is required.
Experience handling long, heavy, or loose materials is strongly preferred.
Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
Comfortable operating equipment on rough terrain and uneven surfaces.
Prior experience in steel manufacturing, warehousing, construction, or industrial environments is a plus.
Strong attention to safety and a dependable work ethic.
Reliable attendance and punctuality are essential.
