Forklift OperatorSchedule: Full-Time, Monday through Thursday, 6:00 AM - 4:30 PM, with overtime on Fridays as needed
Penmac Staffing is currently seeking an experienced Forklift Operator for a long-term opportunity with a local manufacturing client in the Lebanon area. If you have forklift experience, enjoy working in a fast-paced warehouse environment, and take pride in safe and accurate material handling, this could be a great fit for you.
Requirements- Prior forklift operating experience required
- Valid driver's license and CDL required
- Ability to read and understand shipping documents, labels, pick tickets, and safety guidelines
- Strong attention to detail and inventory accuracy
- Basic math skills for counting and verifying materials
- Ability to work independently and follow established procedures
- Ability to communicate equipment issues, product damage, and inventory discrepancies
- Previous warehouse experience preferred
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Ability to work overtime as needed
Responsibilities- Load, unload, ship, and receive warehouse materials and products
- Transport materials throughout the facility using a forklift and related equipment
- Pick, stage, wrap, and prepare orders for shipment
- Build pallets and complete pallet picks to support warehouse operations
- Perform weekly cycle counts and assist with inventory control activities
- Inspect materials for damage, shortages, or discrepancies and report concerns promptly
- Complete shipping, inventory, and material handling documentation accurately
- Conduct routine forklift inspections and report maintenance needs
- Follow all safety, quality, and warehouse procedures
- Maintain a clean work environment and identify potential safety hazards
- Assist other departments with material movement and forklift-related tasks as needed
Physical Requirements- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Ability to sit for extended periods while operating equipment
- Ability to work in outdoor conditions, including heat, cold, rain, mud, snow, and uneven terrain
- Ability to safely operate warehouse equipment and work around moving machinery
Compensation & Schedule- $19.61 to $23.10 per hour
- Monday through Thursday, 6:00 AM to 4:30 PM
- Overtime on Fridays
