Job Overview:

We are currently seeking a skilled Forklift Operator to join our team on a full-time basis. As a Forklift Operator, you will be responsible for operating a forklift to move, load, and unload materials in a safe and efficient manner. You will play a crucial role in our daily operations and contribute to the success of our company.

Key Responsibilities:

- Operate forklift to load and unload materials from trucks, trailers, and storage areas

- Transport materials to designated locations within the warehouse or facility

- Inspect and maintain forklift equipment to ensure safe and efficient operation

- Follow safety protocols and procedures at all times to prevent accidents and injuries

- Keep accurate records of materials moved and maintain inventory levels

- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely and accurate completion of tasks

- Communicate any issues or concerns with equipment or materials to the supervisor

- Adhere to company policies and procedures, including those related to health and safety

- Maintain a clean and organized work area to promote a safe and efficient work environment

Qualifications:

- High school diploma or equivalent

- Valid forklift certification

- Minimum of 1 year of experience operating a forklift in a warehouse or industrial setting

- Strong knowledge of forklift safety protocols and procedures

- Ability to lift and move heavy materials, up to 50 pounds

- Excellent hand-eye coordination and spatial awareness

- Good communication and teamwork skills

- Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately

- Flexible schedule and ability to work overtime when needed
