Role Summary:
Reliable and safety-conscious forklift operator responsible for transporting, loading, unloading, and organizing products within a warehouse environment. The role involves operating forklifts safely to move inventory, support shipment processing, and assist with general warehouse tasks. Core Responsibilities:
- Safely operate forklifts to transport, load, unload, and organize products throughout the warehouse
- Load and unload shipments efficiently, ensuring accuracy and safety protocols are followed
- Move inventory to designated storage areas and stage products for shipping and receiving
- Perform inventory transfers and assist with stock organization
- Conduct daily pre-shift equipment inspections and report maintenance issues promptly
- Follow all safety protocols and company policies to maintain a secure workplace
- Support general warehouse duties as needed, including light manual tasks and cleanup
Must-Have Qualifications:
- Proven experience operating forklifts in a warehouse environment
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
- Reliability with consistent attendance and punctuality
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Comfort working in a fast-paced environment while adhering to safety standards
- Certification or experience as an Equipment Operator (Tier 5 - Certified Forklift 20lbs+)
