About the Role

We are seeking a dependable Forklift Operator to safely move inventory within our warehouse in Hesperia, California. This position focuses on loading, unloading, and transporting materials to support shipping, receiving, and storage operations. The ideal candidate will ensure safety and warehouse organization while maintaining productivity in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Safely operate sit-down, stand-up, reach-truck, or order-picker forklifts to move inventory within the warehouse.
• Load and unload freight trucks and trailers, ensuring cargo safety and security.
• Transport materials across storage areas, production zones, and loading docks.
• Stack goods in designated storage locations including pallet racks according to warehouse standards.
• Inspect received goods for damages, discrepancies, or missing items and promptly report issues.
• Verify the accuracy of shipping documents, pick lists, purchase orders, and bills of lading (BOL).
• Prepare orders for shipment by pulling inventory, building pallets, wrapping, and labeling goods.
• Conduct daily pre-operation inspections on forklift equipment and log findings.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free workspace in accordance with OSHA standards and safety protocols.
• Support inventory counts and stock audits as needed.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 1-2 years of experience operating standard forklifts (sit-down, stand-up, reach truck) in a warehouse environment.
• Valid OSHA Forklift Operator Certification or willingness to obtain certification upon hire.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs unassisted.
• Capable of standing, walking, bending, stooping, and sitting for 8 or more hours.
• Basic computer skills, including familiarity with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) or RF scanners.

Preferred Qualifications

• Strong attention to detail and accurate inventory counting.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Reliable attendance and punctuality.
