Forklift Operator – Houston, TX (77029)

Shift: 2nd Shift
Overtime: Frequent Overtime Available

We are seeking a dependable  Forklift Operator to join a busy industrial facility in Houston. This position plays a key role in the quality control process, ensuring finished materials meet customer specifications before shipment. Candidates must be comfortable working outdoors and in a physically demanding industrial environment.

Responsibilities:

• 
  Operate a forklift safely and efficiently
  
• 
  Inspect materials for quality and defects
  
• 
  Lead and work alongside QC Helpers to ensure quality standards are met
  
• 
  Move materials throughout the facility and outdoor work areas
  
• 
  Sandblast and metallize materials as required
  
• 
  Organize and prepare finished products for shipment
  
• 
  Maintain accurate counts and ensure all materials are accounted for
  
• 
  Follow all safety procedures and company policies
  

Requirements:

• 
  Previous forklift experience required
  
• 
  Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
  
• 
  Comfortable performing physical labor, lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods
  
• 
  Ability to work in a fast-paced industrial environment
  
• 
  Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
  
• 
  Reliable attendance and positive team attitude
  
• 
  Willingness to work overtime as needed
  

Physical Requirements:

• 
  Frequent lifting, bending, squatting, kneeling, and climbing
  
• 
  Ability to handle materials manually and operate industrial equipment
  
• 
  Ability to wear required PPE, including respirators when necessary
