Description
Accentuate Staffing is assisting a manufacturer of electrical equipment in the Garner area that is hiring a Forklift Operator with experience operating sit-down forklifts, stand-up forklifts, and/or reach trucks to join their team. This is a contract-to-hire position, working either first or second shift, Monday through Friday.
Job Responsibilities
Operate sit-down forklifts, stand-up forklifts, and reach trucks safely
Load, unload, move, stage, and store materials throughout the facility
Supply production lines with materials as needed
Pick, pack, and prepare shipments
Perform inventory movements, stock replenishment, and cycle counts
Use RF scanners or inventory systems to track materials
Complete daily forklift inspections and report issues
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
Follow all safety procedures and company policies
Qualifications
Previous experience operating forklifts, stand-up lifts, and/or reach trucks
Experience in warehouse, manufacturing, or distribution environments
Ability to safely move and handle materials in a fast-paced setting
Basic inventory, shipping/receiving, or RF scanner experience preferred
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and remain active throughout the shift
Strong attendance, reliability, and attention to safety
