Forklift Operator

Job Description: Material Handlers manage the flow of materials within a manufacturing facility. They ensure that production areas are fully stocked with materials and that finished products are moved appropriately.

Responsibilities:

• Load, unload, and move materials within or near plant, yard, or work site.
• Use hand trucks, forklifts, hoists, conveyors, or other handling equipment.
• Maintain inventory by identifying, labeling, and placing materials and supplies in stock; recording location of inventory.
• Prepare finished stock for shipment by identifying, pulling, packing, crating, loading, and securing product.
• Document materials and inventory movements by recording data in control systems.

Job Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent; certification to operate a forklift.
• Experience in warehouse or material handling operations.
• Good physical condition and endurance.
• Basic computer skills for inventory management.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
