SURESTAFF is immediately hiring Equipment Operators for a warehouse and distribution facility in Fort Worth, TX 76177. The Equipment Operator is responsible for safely and efficiently operating powered warehouse equipment, including Cherry Pickers and Reach Trucks, to move, store, and retrieve inventory. The ideal candidate will have previous experience operating both types of equipment and be comfortable working in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
SURESTAFF is invested in their team members! All temp-to-hire employees are offered competitive compensation of $18.00 per hour as well as a benefits package including health insurance (medical, dental, and vision).Available Schedule: Monday–Friday, with hours scheduled between 6:00 AM–6:00 PM. Employees must be flexible to work up to 12-hour shifts. Mandatory Saturdays may be required based on business needs.
Equipment Operator Duties and Responsibilities:• Safely operate Cherry Picker and Reach Truck equipment to move and position inventory throughout the warehouse.
• Load, unload, transport, and store products and materials in designated warehouse locations.
• Retrieve inventory from elevated storage locations using proper equipment and safety procedures.
• Perform equipment inspections before operating machinery and report any maintenance or safety concerns.
• Follow all warehouse safety procedures and equipment operating guidelines.
• Ensure products and materials are handled carefully to prevent damage.
• Accurately locate, move, and stage inventory according to warehouse procedures.
• Maintain awareness of pedestrians, other equipment operators, and warehouse traffic.
• Follow instructions from supervisors and leads regarding daily assignments and priorities.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
• Assist with general warehouse duties as needed.
• Meet productivity, accuracy, and attendance expectations.
• Follow all company policies and OSHA safety requirements.
Equipment Operator Requirements and Qualifications:• Minimum 6 months of experience operating BOTH Cherry Picker and Reach Truck.
• Demonstrated ability to safely operate powered warehouse equipment.
• Must be comfortable working in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
• Ability to work flexible hours between 6:00 AM and 6:00 PM.
• Must be willing and able to work up to 12-hour shifts when required.
• Must be available to work mandatory Saturdays when scheduled.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, lift, and perform repetitive tasks throughout the shift.
• Strong attention to detail and safety awareness.
• Dependable attendance and reliable transportation required.
• Must be able to pass a background check.
Education:• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Previous warehouse equipment training or certification is a plus.
Preferred Qualifications:• Previous experience in a high-volume warehouse or distribution environment.
• Experience operating both Cherry Picker and Reach Truck equipment.
• Familiarity with warehouse inventory systems and scanning procedures.
• Strong knowledge of warehouse safety practices.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
