Education Requirements

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret work instructions, shipping documents, and packing lists.

Experience Requirements

• Previous experience as a Forklift Operator, Material Handler, Warehouse Associate, or Receiving Specialist preferred.
• Experience operating both sit-down forklifts and stand-up reach trucks.
• Receiving, inventory control, and shipment verification experience is a plus.

Preferred Qualifications

• Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
• Basic computer proficiency and experience using shipment tracking or inventory management software.
• Excellent communication skills and a willingness to learn new processes and procedures.
• Detail-oriented with a strong focus on accuracy and quality.

Physical Capabilities

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, lift, and move throughout the shift.
• Capable of safely handling warehouse materials and working in a physically active environment.
• Ability to operate powered industrial equipment safely and efficiently.

Job Duties

• Operate sit-down forklifts and stand-up reach trucks to move, store, and transport materials throughout the warehouse.
• Receive incoming shipments and verify materials against packing lists and shipping documentation.
• Inspect shipments for damage and report discrepancies or quality concerns.
• Accurately enter and track shipment information using computer systems and warehouse software.
• Maintain organized storage and receiving areas to support efficient warehouse operations.
• Follow work instructions, safety procedures, and company policies.
• Assist with inventory control, material movement, and other warehouse duties as assigned.
• Cross-train in additional warehouse functions and contribute to a team-oriented environment.

What You Will Do

As a Forklift Operator you will safely operate forklifts to load, unload, transport, stack, and organize materials throughout warehouse and manufacturing operations. You will inspect equipment before use, replenish inventory locations, support shipping and receiving activities, verify product movement, maintain inventory accuracy, and help ensure safe, efficient material handling throughout the facility.
