Forklift Operator - Augusta

As a Forklift Operator, you will operate material handling equipment to receive, store, and distribute products, manage inventory, ensure equipment safety, and maintain clean and organized workstations while adhering to safety and company policies.

What We're Looking For

• High school diploma, GED, or ACT WorkKeys from an accredited institution National Career Readiness Certificate (NCRC) at the Bronz-level or higher. For qualification purposes, candidates must possess a valid ACT ACT WorkKeys National Career Readiness Certificate (NCRC) at the Bronze level or higher. The NCRC must be based on the ACT WorkKeys assessments in:

• Applied Math

• Graphic Literacy

• Workplace Documents

• Previous experience as a forklift operator

• Experience using RFT scanners required

• Ability to work in a manufacturing environment that requires 10-12 hour shifts while standing most of the time

• Ability to lift up to 35 pounds when performing job tasks

• Ability to work weekends and overtime as needed

What You'll Do as a Forklift Operator

• Operate a sit-down forklift to receive products from carriers and transport them to storage areas
• Distribute and issue products efficiently across production areas
• Manage and maintain accurate warehouse inventory
• Safely unload inbound shipments and move products to designated storage locations
• Conduct equipment inspections before and after operational use to ensure safety and functionality
• Adhere to standard operating procedures (SOPs) in all tasks
• Clean and maintain workstations, following all safety guidelines and company policies
• Monitor parts and materials inventory, replenishing bins as necessary for daily operations
• Operate material handling equipment, including clamp trucks and cherry pickers, to move materials safely and efficiently
• Perform other duties as assigned
