Material Handling & Forklift Operation:
The Forklift Operator plays a critical role in supporting production operations by ensuring a continuous flow of materials throughout the facility. This position is responsible for supplying broken pallet stock to automated repair systems, removing finished product from production lines, and transporting materials safely and efficiently to designated staging areas. The role requires the ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment while maintaining a strong focus on safety, accuracy, and productivity.
Shift: 3rd Shift, 11:30 PM to 7:00 AM
Pay $19.90+$2.00 shift Differential $21.90
Travel: No travel required
Languages: English preferred; additional languages are welcomed but not required
During the first year, the successful candidate will focus on:
Safely loading automated roller systems with broken pallet stock for repair
Removing finished product from automated production rollers and transporting it to designated storage or staging locations
Maintaining consistent material flow to minimize production downtime
Conducting pre-shift equipment inspections and reporting maintenance concerns
Following all facility safety procedures and forklift operating standards
Developing a thorough understanding of production workflows and material handling processes
Contributing to a clean, organized, and efficient work environment
Experience operating forklifts in a warehouse, manufacturing, or industrial environment preferred
Ability to operate both electric and propane-powered forklifts
Strong awareness of workplace safety practices and material handling procedures
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced production environment
Basic communication skills and ability to work effectively with production team members
Forklift certification preferred or willingness to become certified
This position is essential to maintaining production efficiency and supporting the overall success of the operation. Successful candidates will demonstrate reliability, attention to detail, a strong commitment to safety, and the ability to perform consistently in a physically active industrial environment.
