    Description

    D2B Groups is looking for a dedicated Forklift Mechanic to join our client's dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a variety of forklifts and material handling equipment. Your expertise will ensure that machinery operates safely and efficiently, which is vital for maintaining productivity in a busy work environment. You will conduct inspections, perform necessary repairs, and collaborate closely with our operations team to minimize downtime.     • Diagnose mechanical issues in forklifts and other material handling equipment.
    • Perform routine maintenance and repairs, including hydraulic and electrical systems.
    • Document all work performed and parts used on service tickets.
    • Ensure compliance with safety standards and practices at all times.
    • Provide excellent customer service, addressing any concerns or questions from clients.
    • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the repair area and tools.
    • Stay updated on new technologies and industry advancements.

    Requirements

    • High school diploma or equivalent; certification in automotive or mechanical technology preferred.
    • Proven experience as a Forklift Mechanic or similar role.
    • Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
    • Ability to troubleshoot and repair equipment in a timely manner.
    • Good communication skills and a customer-oriented approach.
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
    • Willingness to adhere to safety policies and regulations.
