Location: Toledo, OH

Pay Rate: $20.00 per hour

Schedule: 8am-5pm with an hour lunch

Job Duties

  • Assemble, address, stamp, and ship merchandise or materials as needed.
  • Accept packaged and palleted goods, and unpack and verify incoming shipments.
  • Collaborate with the shipping and receiving clerk to ensure smooth operations.
  • Unload trucks and deliveries promptly, sorting and stocking receivables accurately.
  • Operate a vehicle to transport goods to and from designated locations within a specified radius.
  • Load and unload vehicles, ensuring all items are secured and handled safely.
  • Perform routine vehicle maintenance checks, including keeping the vehicle clean, to ensure safe operation.

Education Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED required.

Experience Requirements

  • Experience operating heavy machinery required; forklift certification required.
  • Valid driver's license required.
  • Good communication and organizational skills, with strong attention to detail.
  • Availability to stay late or arrive early on occasion, as business needs require.

Physical Capabilities

  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Ability to safely operate a forklift and other heavy machinery.
  • Ability to load, unload, and secure materials safely as part of daily duties.
