Debbie’s Staffing is now recruiting for Forklift Operators for our client located in Randleman, NC!
Schedule: Weekend Shift: Friday-Sunday 6am-7:30pm (with overtime on Mondays & Tuesdays)
Pay: $16.50 per hour Temp to Hire,
Job Summary: Work safely and efficiently to meet production schedules and quality standards by selecting, packing, assembling, and processing orders, as well operating machinery equipment such as sit-down and stand up forklifts
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Reading orders and verifying proper material from stock
- Using handcart or forklift to move belting material to workstation and placing it on holders for slitting / cutting machine
- Setting up and operating slitting / cutting machine to slit / cut material according to order specifications
- Transferring slit material to winder or cut material to next workstation
- Tagging/re-tagging material as necessary
Position Requirements:
- Reliable, Hard Worker, Motivated, Positive Attitude, Punctual, Respectful
- Ability to independently and safely use and/or operate necessary machinery, tools and equipment.
- Must work well with others and work independently
- Must be able to stand for long periods of time
- Must be able to understand and comply with company and safety rules/policies
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and maneuver large rolls of belting material weighing up to 500lbs.
- Must have reliable transportation.
- Ability to read and understand written order specifications, including units of measure in both English and Metric.
- If Sit-Down FL experience only, we can teach you to learn how to operate Stand-up Cherry Picker lifts
