Forklift Driver Counterbalance

Real people Recruitment are currently recruiting on behalf of a leading HVAC (Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning) parts supply company based in Dublin 11. They are looking for a reliable and adaptable Forklift Driver / Warehouse Operative to join their fast-paced distribution hub on an initial 3-month Fixed-Term Contract.

Location: Dublin 11 (Finglas / Ballymun area)
Contract Type: 3-Month Fixed-Term Contract (FTC)
Start Date: 17th August 2026
Pay Rate: €16.49 per hour (Overtime paid at 1.5x)
Hours: 39 hours per week (Rotating Shift Pattern)

The Role

As part of the warehouse team, you will be responsible for handling HVAC components, organizing stock, loading/unloading delivery vehicles, and ensuring smooth daily operations across flexible shift patterns.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operating a Counterbalance Forklift safely and efficiently to move, stack, and stage stock.

• Loading and unloading delivery trucks containing HVAC parts and equipment.

• Goods receiving, order picking, packing, and dispatch duties.

• Maintaining a clean, safe, and organized warehouse environment.

• Adhering to strict health and safety guidelines at all times.

Shift Pattern & Working Hours

This position operates on a 39-hour weekly contract with a rotating shift schedule. Candidates must be fully flexible to cover all of the following start times:

• Rotating Start Times: 06:00, 07:00, 08:00, and 09:30

• Overtime: Limited, but paid at Time-and-a-Half (€24.73/hr) when required.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Forklift License: Valid, up-to-date Counterbalance Forklift License is essential.

• Driving License: Full B Driving License.

• Experience: 1–2 years of experience operating a counterbalance forklift in a warehouse or logistics environment.

• Location: Ideally based locally in or near Dublin 11 with reliable transport to accommodate 6:00 AM start times.

• Availability: Must be available to start full-time on 17/08/2026.
