    We are seeking a Foreman to lead a 3–5 person crew on telecommunications and utility construction projects. This working foreman role provides on-site leadership while performing hands-on tasks including equipment operation, trenching, installation, and site preparation. Work is performed outdoors in all weather conditions, and travel to job sites—including overnight out-of-town assignments—is required.


    ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

    1. Lead a 3–5 person crew on aerial and underground fiber-construction projects
    2. Maintain a safe job site and ensure crew compliance with safety procedures
    3. Plan and schedule daily work to meet production goals
    4. Perform hands-on tasks alongside the crew
    5. Conduct job-site and equipment inspections
    6. Communicate project expectations and progress with management and customers
    7. Support a team-oriented work environment and encourage crew development and growth
    8. Work outdoors in all weather and terrain conditions
    9. Travel to job sites, including overnight out-of-town assignments; overtime may be required
    10. Participate in required training and perform traffic control as needed

    Position Requirements

    1. Experience as a Foreman in telecom, utility, or construction
    2. 3–5+ years of industry experience
    3. Must have aerial and buried experience
    4. Strong understanding of job-site safety practices and utility-location awareness
    5. Ability to read and interpret construction plans and job specifications
    6. Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to direct and motivate a crew
    7. Proficiency operating heavy equipment
    8. Willingness to perform labor tasks when equipment operation is not required
    9. Ability to adapt, solve problems in the field, and support continuous improvement within the crew
    10. CDL is required
    11. Reliable attendance, strong work ethic, and commitment to safe work practices
    12. Ability to work outdoors and travel as needed
