Foreign & Domestic Immigration Specialist
(starts contract) 
  • Location: Energy Corridor
  • Parking: Free/ Validated
  • Pay Rate: $35 - $36.06/hour
  • Contract Duration: 6 months - with a strong possibility of going perm/direct, based on performance 
  • Work Schedule: 100% on-site



Position Overview
An experienced Specialist, Foreign & Domestic Immigration is needed to support employees and contractors with immigration and visa processes. This role is responsible for ensuring all immigration documentation is prepared accurately and submitted in a timely manner. The ideal candidate will have strong working knowledge of both foreign and domestic immigration and visa programs and will be comfortable working independently with minimal supervision while maintaining consistent communication with their supervisor.
Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee, prepare, and process work-related passports, travel visas, employment visas, and other immigration-related documentation
  • Ensure immigration applications and supporting paperwork are completed accurately and submitted on time
  • Provide immigration support and guidance to employees and contractors
  • Maintain compliance with applicable immigration regulations and internal company procedures
  • Perform accounting administration related to immigration processes
  • Manage records retention and ensure proper documentation tracking and filing
  • Communicate status updates, issues, and timelines clearly with internal stakeholders and leadership
Required Qualifications
  • Proven experience handling passports and foreign visas (required)
  • Hands-on experience with foreign and domestic immigration processes
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage sensitive, confidential information
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Strong organizational, documentation, and communication skills

Ideal Experience
This position supports employee immigration and international travel processes and requires strong coordination, tracking, and administrative skills. The ideal candidate will have experience working with employee passports, visas, and global mobility programs, as well as exposure to immigration-related billing and expense management. Because the role involves partnering with immigration counsel, HR, finance, and external vendors, candidates should be comfortable reviewing documentation, monitoring costs, tracking filing fees, and ensuring accurate reporting and invoicing throughout the immigration lifecycle.

We are particularly interested in candidates who have:
  • Coordinated employee passport and visa applications (e.g., Schengen, UK, business travel visas).
  • Worked with immigration attorneys, mobility vendors, or relocation providers.
  • Reviewed immigration-related invoices and validated legal, government, and vendor charges.
  • Tracked expenses such as filing fees, premium processing fees, and mobility-related costs.
  • Maintained accurate records and generated reports for HR, finance, or leadership teams.
  • Demonstrated strong attention to detail, confidentiality, and organizational skills in a regulated environment.
