    Job Description: Foreclosure Attorney (Hybrid - New York)
     
    Our client is seeking a dedicated and experienced Foreclosure Attorney to join our team on a permanent basis. This hybrid role is based in New York and requires a professional who meets the following qualifications:
     
    Purpose
    The Associate Attorney is responsible for drafting and reviewing foreclosure-related pleadings and attending foreclosure settlement conferences on behalf of the firm’s clients. This role will require legal knowledge and experience to efficiently facilitate the foreclosure process. The position offers flexibility, with the option to work both remotely and in-office.
     
    Specific Duties, Activities, and Responsibilities
    Draft and review foreclosure-related motions such as Summons and Complaints, Orders of Reference, Motions for Summary Judgment, and Judgments of Foreclosure and Sale
    Attend hearing and mediation appearances
    Provide case analysis and advise clients on legal strategies
    Draft court pleadings, status letters, denial letters, and written requests
    Collaborate with supervising foreclosure attorneys, business units, and per diem appearance counsel
    Provide legal directives for clients on behalf of the firm
    Directly manage escalated cases, including handling client systems
    Coordinate bank representative and client appearances
    Travel as needed
     
    Job Requirements
    Member of the New York Bar, with all necessary licensing and continuing legal education requirements
    Minimum of 3-5 years of foreclosure experience
    Bachelor’s Degree and Juris Doctorate from an accredited law school
    Strong written and verbal communication skills
    Excellent customer service skills for internal and external clients
    Timely problem-solving and issue resolution
    Strong work ethic, excellent time management, and deadline adherence
    Ability to take initiative and handle obstacles proactively
    Demonstrated commitment to the firm’s vision, mission, and core values
