Role Description The Foodservice Chain Sales role is a full-time, hybrid position based in the San Francisco Bay Area, with flexibility for some work from home. This role is responsible for managing and growing sales with regional and national foodservice chain accounts, including restaurants, quick-service concepts, and other multi-unit operators. Day-to-day activities include developing account plans, presenting product solutions, negotiating agreements, coordinating promotions, and maintaining strong relationships with key decision makers at chains and distributors. The role involves collaborating with culinary and marketing teams to create compelling menu applications, tracking performance metrics, and providing regular sales forecasts and business reviews. The individual will also be expected to visit customer locations, attend industry events, and stay current on market trends and competitive activity.\n

- Demonstrated knowledge of foodservice operations and the broader Food Service industry, ideally with experience working with chain accounts.

- Strong Interpersonal Skills with the ability to build and maintain professional relationships with operators, distributors, and internal partners.

- Understanding of Food Preparation and Cooking processes to effectively discuss product applications and menu solutions with culinary teams.

- Awareness of Food Safety standards and practices to support compliant and safe product usage in foodservice environments.

- Proven sales, account management, or business development experience in foodservice, consumer packaged goods, or related sectors.

- Ability to analyze data, interpret sales reports, and translate insights into actionable plans.

- Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills, with comfort presenting to groups and decision makers.

- Ability to work effectively in a hybrid environment, manage time independently, and travel within the San Francisco Bay Area and occasionally beyond.

- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Hospitality Management, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience.
