FOOD CATERING COORDINATOR The Catering coordinator oversees planning and m anaging all the needs of events and catering services. Responsibilities include: com m unicating and providing excellent custom er service, organizing, coordinating tim eline, m aintaining inventory, overseeing staff, assisting with budgeting Qualifications: W elcom e and greeting custom ers/clients Com m unicate effectively with guests and staff with a friendly, courteous dem eanor Respond to the needs of clients and custom ers in a tim ely m anner Schedule events and acts as the point person with host Develop catering form s & organize a tim eline for the event that is sm ooth and efficient Ensure that the décor is properly set up and then broken down after the event Ensure that food orders are processed and on tim e for the events M anage inventory of food and supplies to ensure that all the needs will be m et for the event Com m unicate and coordinate with third party vendors and external suppliers to ensure the inventory is stocked Oversee the catering and kitchen staff Schedule and m aintain proper staffing for event schedules M anage budgeting & assist with financing duties including the food and décor M aintain a professional dem eanor and appearance at all tim es M ust be ServSafe Certified Stipend: $2,000 If interested, please apply on www.schoolspring.com or send letter of interest to: Shane Riordan, Director of Food Services CARVER PUBLIC SCHOOLS 60 S.
