    Job Description

    Overview

    SCHEDULE

    Tuesday & Wednesday, every other weekend: 10:30am-6:30pm

    WORK LOCATION

    Tipton Hospital

    KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Prepares, plates, serves, and transports food and supplies to provide a high level of satisfaction for patients, family members, physicians, team members, and the public.
    • Responsible for timely, accurate, and courteous service.
    • Responsible for associated sanitation, cleaning, and infection control practices to ensure food safety.
    • Operates a variety of food service and computer equipment.

    QUALIFICATIONS

    • High school diploma, GED or equivalent experience is preferred.

    • No experience is required.

    • Prior food service experience is preferred.

    • Requires the ability to operate kitchen equipment.

    • Must be able to wear protective equipment/clothing required by the environment or government regulations such as gowns, gloves, goggles, rubber-soled closed-toe footwear, etc.

    • Requires adherence to local health regulations and safety requirements to produce safe food for consumption.

    • Physical requirements to include: reaching, standing for long periods of time, squatting, bending, carrying and/or lifting supplies and equipment.
