Job Description
Overview

SCHEDULE Part Time
- 24 hours per weekMust be flexible and open availability
10am-6:30pm during the week
5:30am-6:30pm, every other weekend; rotating holidays
WORK LOCATION
Frankfort Hospital
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Prepares, plates, serves, and transports food and supplies to provide a high level of satisfaction for patients, family members, physicians, team members, and the public.
- Responsible for timely, accurate, and courteous service.
- Responsible for associated sanitation, cleaning, and infection control practices to ensure food safety.
- Operates a variety of food service and computer equipment.
QUALIFICATIONS
- High school diploma, GED or equivalent experience is preferred.
- No experience is required.
- Prior food service experience is preferred.
- Requires the ability to operate kitchen equipment.
- Must be able to wear protective equipment/clothing required by the environment or government regulations such as gowns, gloves, goggles, rubber-soled closed-toe footwear, etc.
- Requires adherence to local health regulations and safety requirements to produce safe food for consumption.
- Requires the ability to climb ladders.
- Physical requirements to include: reaching, standing for long periods of time, squatting, bending, carrying and/or lifting supplies and equipment weighing 35 lbs. or more, up to 80% of the time.
