Food Service Worker - University Dining Services

We are seeking a dependable and hardworking Food Service Worker to join a university dining services team. The Food Service Worker will assist with food preparation, serving, dining area maintenance, sanitation, and other daily food service operations. The ideal candidate is customer-focused, reliable, and comfortable working in a fast-paced campus environment.

• Assist with basic food preparation and meal service.
• Set up and replenish food stations, serving lines, and dining areas.
• Serve meals and beverages to students, faculty, staff, and guests.
• Follow proper food handling, sanitation, and safety procedures.
• Maintain clean and sanitary kitchen, dining, and food preparation areas.
• Wash dishes, utensils, cookware, and food service equipment as needed.
• Clean and sanitize work surfaces and equipment.
• Store food and supplies properly and according to established procedures.
• Monitor food levels and notify supervisors when supplies need replenishment.
• Assist with receiving, stocking, and organizing food and supplies.
• Provide courteous and professional customer service.
• Follow university and food service policies and procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
