Food Service Worker PT (6:30am0 12:30pm M-F)

List of Duties and Requirements

• Assist in daily operation of the BDI operated, McKenney's Cafe, located on the campus of McKenney's Inc.
• Assist with all tasks associated with providing a safe food service environment that follows all county health codes
• Perform opening and closing duties to ensure cleanliness and organization throughout the facility
• Order taking and sandwich making- Build sandwiches quickly and accurately according to guest requests and standard recipes on a fast-moving assembly line
• Cash handling and payment processing
• Food preparation - Slice meats, cheeses, and prep fresh vegetables daily; bake bread and cookies to maintain stock levels.
• Light janitorial and dishwashing
• Maintain a clean and organized work station - Maintain a spotless workstation. Wash dishes, sweep/mop, restock the line, and strictly follow food safety and sanitation guidelines.
• Communicate clearly and effectively with co-workers and customers- Greet guests with a smile, take orders accurately, and handle any special dietary requests with care.
• Stocking of food and dry products
• Other duties as assigned.

Experience

• Must have excellent customer skills.

•  Must have previous food handling experience
• Must be dependable and flexible.
• Must be able to work at varying levels of speed
• Requires background check.
• Must be able to lift up to 30 lbs.
• Frequent walking, reaching, and bending.
• Standing 3-4 hours at a time
