At Valley Presbyterian Hospital, our food service team plays an important role in patient satisfaction and overall care. We’re seeking a dependable Food Service Worker to support kitchen operations, food preparation, and service while maintaining a clean and safe environment.

What You’ll Do

• Prepare, portion, and serve food for patients, cafeteria, and catering services
• Set up and deliver patient meal trays accurately and efficiently
• Clean and maintain kitchen, cafeteria, and work areas
• Operate kitchen equipment such as dishwashers, slicers, and blenders
• Wash and store dishes, utensils, and equipment
• Stock supplies and transport items as needed
• Support tray line operations and assist with menu preparation
• Perform diet office duties including answering phones and processing menus
• Follow infection control, safety, and sanitation standards
• Assist with cross-training and support different assignments as needed

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred or related experience
• 1 year of food service experience preferred
• Ability to obtain LA City Fire Card and MOAB certification within 30 days
