Position Summary

We are seeking a dependable Food Service Attendant to support daily food service operations in a healthcare environment. This position is responsible for maintaining cleanliness and sanitation standards, stocking nourishment areas, delivering patient meals, and assisting with additional food service duties as directed by supervision.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Perform general and deep cleaning of food service areas.

• Clean and sanitize equipment, work areas, and common spaces.

• Stock and maintain nourishment rooms and supplies.

• Deliver and retrieve patient meals and trays as assigned.

• Follow established food safety, sanitation, and infection-control procedures.

• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.

• Assist with additional food service duties as needed and directed by supervision.

• Follow all facility policies and procedures.

Requirements

• Food Handlers Card required.

• Previous food service, hospitality, or healthcare food service experience preferred.

• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.

• Strong attention to cleanliness, safety, and sanitation.

• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced healthcare environment.

• Must be dependable and able to work a variable schedule, including weekends and holidays as needed.

Required Attire

• Non-slip, closed-toe shoes

• Black pants

• Collared black or navy shirt
