Major/Essential Functions
- Supervise, if assigned by immediate supervisor, and participate in kitchen and dining area activities.
- Understands and carries out oral instructions.
- Arrive at work on time when scheduled.
- Attend training sessions as directed.
- Take and record temperature of food and food storage areas such as refrigerators and freezers.
- Prepare a variety of foods, such as meat, vegetables, desserts, according to customers' orders or supervisors' instructions, following approved procedures.
- Customer service when needed during operational times.
- Food prep, wiping down food prep areas, wiping down tables in eating areas, throwing the trash.

Ability to learn routine methods and practices of food preparation and services. Ability to learn health hazards in food preparation, service and necessary precautionary measures. Ability to establish and maintain effective work relationships with other employees and supervisors. Ability to understand and carry out oral instructions.
