About the Role
The Food Service Worker plays a vital role in ensuring the efficient and sanitary preparation and distribution of meals within the Evansville JC McKenna Middle School environment. This position is responsible for maintaining high standards of cleanliness and food safety while supporting the kitchen team in daily operations. Job Responsibilities
Prepare and serve meals and snacks in accordance with established menus and portion sizes.Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of all kitchen and dining areas, including equipment and utensils.Follow all food safety regulations and guidelines to prevent contamination and ensure safe food handling.Assist with receiving, storing, and organizing food supplies and inventory management.Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to coordinate meal service and address any issues promptly.
