Description

We are seeking a dependable and customer-focused Food Service Worker to join a corporate dining team within a technology company. The Food Service Worker will assist with daily food service operations, including food preparation, serving, dining area setup, stocking, cleaning, and maintaining a safe and welcoming environment for employees and guests.

The ideal candidate is reliable, professional, and comfortable working in a fast-paced corporate food service environment.

Job Responsibilities

  • Assist with basic food preparation and meal service.
  • Set up and replenish food stations, serving lines, and dining areas.
  • Serve food and beverages to employees and guests.
  • Assist with portioning and presentation of food.
  • Replenish food, beverages, utensils, and supplies as needed.
  • Maintain clean and sanitary kitchen, serving, and dining areas.
  • Wash dishes, utensils, cookware, and food service equipment.
  • Clean and sanitize work surfaces and equipment.
  • Properly store, label, and rotate food and supplies.
  • Assist with receiving, stocking, and organizing food and kitchen supplies.
  • Follow food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety procedures.
  • Provide friendly and professional customer service.
  • Work collaboratively with cooks, kitchen staff, and dining team members.
  • Support special events, catering, and other food service activities as needed.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Previous food service, restaurant, cafeteria, hospitality, or corporate dining experience preferred.
  • Food Handler certification preferred, if applicable.
  • Knowledge of basic food safety and sanitation practices.
  • Strong customer service and communication skills.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Professional and positive attitude.
  • Reliable attendance and punctuality.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and perform frequent walking, bending, reaching, and lifting.
