The Food Service Worker will assist the manager with food/meal preparation; maintain cash receipts and meal records. Assist manager in completing daily reports. Maintain high standards of quality in food production, sanitation, and kitchen safety practices.
ARAMARK Full-Time Food Service Position - Boulder County We are hiring for a Full-Time Food Service Universal Worker position at either the Boulder County Jail (3200 Airport Rd, Boulder, CO 80301) or the Joe Pelle Alternative Sentencing Facility (3260 Airport Rd, Boulder, CO 80301). The two facilities are within walking distance of each other (less than 20 feet apart), and employees may be assigned to work at either location.You will be able to work at both facilities.
Pre-Employment Requirements Applicants must provide: A valid government-issued photo ID or driver's license A Social Security card These documents are required so the Boulder County Sheriff's Office can complete a background check. Job Responsibilities This position includes: Cooking and baking Food preparation Dishwashing and kitchen cleaning Receiving and storing deliveries Inventory management. Working with and training residents Following recipes and food service procedures Hiring Contact Sophia Gomez, Food Service Director, will coordinate training, scheduling, and your start date.
Work Schedule The regular schedule is expected to be: Four 10-hour shifts per week Three days off per week. Either Wednesday-Saturday or Sunday-Wednesday Boulder County Jail 3200 Airport Rd, Boulder, CO 80301 Hours: 6:30 AM - 5:45 PM Joe Pelle Alternative Sentencing Facility 3260 Airport Rd, Boulder, CO 80301 Hours: 8:00 AM - 6:45 PM. Training Period During the first three months of training, employees may be scheduled Sunday-Wednesday before transitioning to their permanent schedule. Summary This position offers full-time employment in a food service environment supporting Boulder County facilities. The role requires successful completion of a background check and involves food preparation, sanitation, inventory control, and working with residents. Training, scheduling, and onboarding will be coordinated by the Food Service Director.
COMPENSATION: The hourly rate for this position is $18.00 to $20.00. If both numbers are the same, that is the amount that Aramark expects to offer. This is Aramark?s good faith and reasonable estimate of the compensation for this position as of the time of posting.
