Next Level Staffing is hiring Food Service Workers to assist with meal preparation, serving, and kitchen sanitation in a healthcare setting.
Schedule
- Full-time, approximately 40 hours per week.
- Rotating weekday schedules with weekend work required.
- Weekend rotation consists of two weekends worked followed by one weekend off.
- Flexibility is required; the department operates daily from 5:00 a.m.–7:00 p.m.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook food in large quantities for regular and modified diets.
- Portion meals and serve food on tray lines and in cafeteria settings.
- Safely operate kitchen equipment and utensils.
- Clean and sanitize dishes, equipment, counters, and floors.
- Sweep, mop, remove trash, and operate dishwashing equipment.
- Push food carts and assist with food transportation.
- Operate a cash register as assigned.
- Follow food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety procedures.
Requirements
- Ability to stand and walk for approximately 80% of the workday.
- Ability to bend, stoop, and perform repetitive tasks.
- Ability to lift up to 40 pounds independently and up to 75 pounds with assistance.
- Slip-resistant shoes required.
- Availability for rotating schedules and required weekends.
- Completion of the required criminal background screening and 10-panel drug screen.
