Momentum at South Bay is looking to hire a Per diem Food Service Supervisor.
Weekend availability is a must
Duties include:
- Plan, assign and inspect the work of Food Service Staff.
- Schedule and assign staff, prepare department payroll for data entry if required.
- Manage and maintain departmental budgets.
- Supervise the storage & care of food and supplies.
- Oversee the cleaning of the kitchen, storage, dining areas, and equipment.
- Inspects Residents' trays for consistency with a specified menu.
- Coordinates and plans food preparation activities for special events.
- Work with the interdisciplinary team to ensure Residents' requests and needs are being met.
Requirements:
- Minimum of high school diploma or equivalent required; college degree preferred.
- Supervisory Food Service experience at a healthcare facility.
- ServSafe or similar certification preferred.
- Strong knowledge of large scale & therapeutic food prep.
- Solid leadership and supervisory skills.
- Prior management experience
- Excellent communication skills.
- Must be able to work as a team member.
Job Type: Per diem or Part-Time
Hours: 12pm-8pm
Pay: $24.00 - $26.00 per hour
