Food Service Supervisor

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCEHigh school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Calls for maintenance and repair on major or vital pieces of equipment within one hour of knowledge of the malfunction.

SUMMARYThis position is responsible to the Project Manager or Assistant Project Manager to help manage all food service attendant functions at the Little Rock Air Force Base or the VA Hospitals.ROTATING DAYS/HOURS INCLUDING WEEKENDS & HOLIDAYSESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.Assigns personnel to specific duties.Supervises all activities. Trains and conducts refresher or remedial training as necessary.Gives prompt direction to personnel to assure quality service.Conducts time studies and establishes standards of performance.Evaluates performance of personnel.Documents performance and counsels personnel.Supervises and verifies entries on time sheets.Takes prompt action to remove safety problems.Calls for maintenance and repair on major or vital pieces of equipment within one hour of knowledge of the malfunction. Records maintenance needs on proper log.EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCEHigh school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Experience in working with individuals with disabilities. Ability to work well with others.
